Rio Ferdinand insists he is not looking forward to Manchester United's clash against Chelsea on Monday.
The two Premier League giants go head to head for the first time this season at Old Trafford next week, but Ferdinand insists that games against local rivals Manchester City and also Liverpool are the ones he really looks forward to.
Recent encounters between the Red Devils and Chelsea have been particularly heated, with the controversy surrounding John Terry, Ashley Cole and Ferdinand ensuring tension often runs high.
"It is not one of my favourite games. Every game at Old Trafford is special, in front of our home fans and we try to put on a show," he said.
"We have our closest rivals, Liverpool and Manchester City, and those game are hyped up the most and you maybe take the most pleasure from winning against them."
Team-mate Ryan Giggs meanwhile believes that the Stamford Bridge-based club are genuine title contenders, and says Manchester United cannot afford to drop behind them early on in season.
'I think we need to get off to a good start. During Mourinho's first spell at Chelsea, they got off to good starts, and we didn't manage to catch them.
'It's been well documented that we do have tough start but we got a great result at Swansea, and hopefully we can carry that on.'
