Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski has confirmed he will be staying at Borussia Dortmund for this season at least.
The powerful Polish hit-man has been linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge this summer after Dortmund refused to sell him to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.
Jose Mourinho is still on the hunt for an extra forward and Lewandowski was thought to be on his wish-list should a move for Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney end in disappointment.
However, Lewandowski, who is still expected to get his dream move to Bayern next summer, has ruled out a late exit from Dortmund, insisting any issues he had with club have all been ironed out.
‘It is the case that I will stay for another year at Dortmund. We have settled all our disagreements and talked things over. There are no more problems,’ he told German newspaper Bild.
‘BVB (Dortmund) are ready to mount an attack for every title. We are chasing Bayern.’
