Jose Mourinho may have snatched midfielder Willian from under the
noses of London rivals Tottenham, but Fulham have gazumped the Chelsea
boss in the signing of another player – Mourinho’s own son.
Jose Mario has put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Cottagers, where he will represent their Under-14 side, following a successful one-month trial.
A year is the longest contract a player of his age can sign while playing abroad.
The youngster previously played in Real Madrid’s youth set-up while Jose senior was manager at the Bernabeu, but has seemingly elected not to follow his father to Stamford Bridge.
